Francis Liew
Choral Director
Francis Liew has been a dedicated member of the choral community in Singapore since 1999. Over the years, he has built up a reputation of helping young choirs achieve recognition and awards both nationally and internationally. These choirs have earned over 40 national and international Gold and Distinction Awards, including a Grand Prix Finalist and a National Top 5 Choir Award.
Francis is often invited by schools and community choirs to share his knowledge through choral workshops and masterclasses. He has also had the honour of judging several international choral competitions in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Believing in a well-rounded choral education, he has led 34 choirs to festivals and competitions in Japan, Malaysia, U.S.A., China, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In 2012, Francis received the 'Service to Education' award from the Ministry of Education.
During Singapore’s 50th National Day celebrations, he was appointed the trainer and conductor of the “Choir of 1000 voices”. He is founder of the Asia Arts Festival and the Singapore International Dance Challenge.
Francis Liew continues to contribute to the performing arts community with a commitment to nurturing young talents.

Debra Abraham
Debra Abraham is the Founder and Director of Rockstarz Performing Arts Studios, a voice and performance academy dedicated to developing confident, expressive, and accomplished performers.
A performer, vocal coach, educator, and HRDC Accredited Trainer, Debra brings over 21 years of experience in education, communication, and performance development. She has worked with singers, speakers, performers, educators, and professionals across Malaysia and internationally, helping individuals strengthen their vocal technique, stage presence, communication skills, and confidence.
As an experienced performer herself, Debra understands the discipline, artistry, and dedication required to excel on stage. Her approach combines strong technical foundations with performance psychology, artistic expression, and personal development, enabling performers to grow not only as singers but as confident artists and communicators.
Under her leadership, many Rockstarz vocal students have achieved outstanding results in Trinity Rock & Pop Vocal Examinations, with numerous students attaining distinctions and top scores. Several of her students have also gone on to release original music on international streaming platforms such as Spotify, building their presence as emerging recording artists.
Debra served as a judge for the Asia Arts Fest 2024 and is honoured to return as a judge for Asia Arts Fest 2025, continuing her commitment to recognising and nurturing artistic excellence among young performers.
She looks forward to celebrating the talent, creativity, dedication, and artistry of all participants and wishes every performer a rewarding and inspiring competition experience.

Dr Muhammad Sayyid
His works have been showcased at major festivals across the UK, Europe, and Asia, and he has collaborated with esteemed ensembles including Quatuor Danel, Psappha Ensemble, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, and the Malaysia Youth Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. His experience in teaching includes conducting music classes and providing academic advice to various levels of learners, providing music consultation and supervision for postgraduate research students, as well to facilitate the educational framework driven by the university. He also managed to establish a new and worked closely across all university departments that includes monitoring the quality of the content and managing the academic and professional teams. Appointed as an adjudicator by various organisations, he brings a comprehensive and forward-looking perspective to the development of the performing arts in Malaysia.

Kok Kee Boon
Mr. Kok Kee Boon is a pianist, impresario, concert promoter, producer and an artiste manager for local and foreigner artistes. He has played a key role in music education and organized outstanding concerts throughout Malaysia, for business/corporate sponsors and government bodies, from grass roots to the highest levels encompassing the entire spectrum of our society.
Amongst his accolades, Kee Boon in his younger days was awarded the International Outstanding Young Malaysian Award. He won first prize for the NSW state Conservatoire Piano Festival Competition in Sydney, Australia and Gems of Asia by the Federation for Asian Culture promotion in Indonesia. More recently, he was featured as one of the Steinway Artistes for “Steinway for a Cause” online charity show and appointed one of the judges for the Malaysia’s Greatest Talent contest.

Harit Chunhanantasap
Harit Chunhanantasap began his music studies at the age of 13 at Vajiravudh College, where he first discovered his passion for music. At the age of 16, he studied piano performance with Poom Prommachart in the program school of young talent, an experience that greatly shaped his musical foundation.
At the age of 19, Harit moved to Moscow, Russia, to pursue a professional training in music performance and pedagogy. He was accepted into the Piano Faculty of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, where he pursued a Bachelor's degree on a full scholarship provided by Vajiravudh College. During his studies, he has actively participated in masterclasses with the great artists and professors. He has participated in competitions and won numerous awards particularly in Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia, Germany.
Moreover, he has had the opportunity to perform abroad and at music festivals such as in Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, and Canada.
In 2023, Harit completed his Bachelor’s degree. He honed his craft under the guidance of Vladimir Tropp and Alexander Kudryavtsev, in a piano solo performance. In addition, he trained in Chamber music with Natalia Latyusheva, and accompaniment with Elena Strikovskaya.
In 2025, he graduated with his advanced studies, a Master’s degree of Music Performance with First Class Honors at the same institute with First-Class Honours. Currently, he is a piano instructor at the School of Arts, Sunway University.

Dr Peter Jesudason
DR PETER JEBASEELAN JESUDASON was born in Penang and began playing the violin at the age of six. He studied at Wellesley Primary School, Penang and Anglo- Chinese School, Ipoh.
He completed his secondary education at Bryanston School, UK where he was a music scholar ( past scholars have included Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Sir Mark Elder and Mark Wigglesworth ).
He read Medicine at Cambridge and pursued his musical interests and education in parallel with his medical studies. Whilst at Cambridge, he formed the Cambridge Chamber Orchestra, tackling major works of the symphonic repertoire and accompanying distinguished soloists in concerto performances.
He has taken part in numerous concerts as conductor, violin soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player. He was 1st violin in the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra ( President Sir Simon Rattle ) and the Endellion Festival Orchestra ( Director Sir Richard Hickox).
In Malaysia, he has conducted the National Symphony Orchestra and founded the Malaysian Symphony Orchestra in 2001, conducting a Royal Charity Concert with the orchestra featuring the 1987 Leeds International Piano Competition prize winner, Noriko Ogawa.
More recently in 2017, he conducted the Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto with 16 year old Penang boy, Vincent Ong. Vincent has gone on to achieve international fame by being a prize winner in the 2025 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. Dr Jesudason is a Consultant Cardiologist working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Yeap Yen Chin
Yeap Yen Chin is the Principal of My Dancesport Studio, a qualified World Dance Council Licensed International Adjudicator, the President of Malaysian Dancers’ Association, Vice-President of Malaysian Ballroom Dancers’ Association, National Coach for Latin American Dance of Malaysian Ballroom Coaches & Competitors’ Sdn Bhd.
She is a pianist by profession, proficient on piano teaching but never venture into it at all, as she preferred to step out of her music seclusion to venture into Latin American Dancing which became her passion and her chosen craft. Her passion for dancing was so immense that she traveled worldwide to take dancing lessons as well as to compete in various International dancing competitions for the consecutive 15 years. As a dancing icon, she also teaches and shares her experiences with her students. She has produced number of Malaysian Latin Champions and students turned * teacher " operating the own dance schools.
In year 2012, she organized the first annual Ipoh International Dancesport Championship. Fortunately, after many years of exposure to different world class dance competitions, she decided to bring the outside world of dancers to Ipoh. She believes through dancing also helps to promote tourism for our city too.
After she retired as a dance competitor, she married to Chun Wai, her dance partner year 2015. Now she is a mother of two children. Combining two dance studios and moved to a bigger studio. Adventuring herself to a new different challenging life, nevertheless, she still determines her mission to promote Latin Dance.

Raymond Chai
Raymond Chai Raymond has work in classical ballet, musical theatre and television. He danced with the National Ballet of Portugal where he danced a repertoire of classical and contemporary works which includes Napoli, Raymonda, Rite of Spring, Graduation Ball, Carmina Burana among others. Musical theatre productions include CATS, Miss Saigon, Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate and The King and I (Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, London West End) Raymond has guest taught for various dance companies around the world including English National Ballet, National Ballet of Portugal, Singapore Dance Theatre, Rambert Dance Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Pheonix Dance Theatre, New Adventures, Company Wayne McGregor and highlights includes International Ballet Gala in Malaysia featuring principals and soloists from San Francisco Ballet, Hamburg Ballet and Boston Ballet. He has coached dance students for the Adeline Genee Awards and the Asian Grand Prix. Raymond was also a guest tutor at the Dance Masters International in New Zealand. Choreographic commissions include for the National Ballet of Portugal, Hong Kong Ballet, Ballet Black (Royal Opera House), Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Dance Space Malaysia and the BBC. Raymond has produced and choreographed two ballet productions, La Sylphide (Slovenia) and The Sleeping Beauty (Malaysia). In October 2015, Raymond premiered his piece ‘Unbroken Silence’ in the USA at YourMove Modern Dance Festival, New Jersey. Raymond was invited to Hong Kong in 2017 where he choreographed ‘The Architecture of Wu’ for the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. In June 2018, Raymond was awarded Master of Arts in Dance Technique Pedagogy by Middlesex University. In 2021, in response to the pandemic, Raymond produced, choreographed and directed his film Monoi/Mazi (Alone/Together), using purely non-professional dancers who survived Covid 19 virus. This film has won numerous awards internationally in film festivals and competitions. Raymond has been Lecturer in Dance for London Contemporary Dance School and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and is currently Lecturer in Dance at the TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Raymond has also worked in the TV drama ‘Alice and Jack’ (Channel 4) as Choreographer and Movement Director (2022).

Datin Rosalina Ooi

Datin Rosalina Ooi is a distinguished educator, examiner, and performing arts advocate with extensive experience in arts education, teacher development, and talent nurturing across Malaysia, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), she holds a Postgraduate qualification in Ballet and Contextual Studies with University of Durham and has dedicated many years to advancing excellence in dance and performing arts education. She holds two Master Degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Special Education, reflecting her commitment to educational leadership, inclusive learning, and professional development.
Datin Rosalina is actively involved in the training and mentoring of ballet teachers and is presently engaged in teacher training programs in the United States, supporting educators in developing effective teaching practices, pedagogical knowledge, and professional standards in dance and special education.
As an Examiner for the I-PATH Examination Board, Datin Rosalina is responsible for assessing and recognizing achievement in the performing arts. At My Asia Arts Festival 2026, she will serve as the official representative of the I-PATH Examination Board and will award the festival's Achievement Awards, recognizing performers who demonstrate excellence, artistry, commitment, and outstanding achievement.
Known for her supportive and constructive approach, Datin Rosalina believes in nurturing confidence, creativity, and lifelong learning in every performer. Her passion for education and the performing arts continues to inspire students, teachers, and arts communities both locally and internationally.
